Where these numbers come from.

SourceRDW open data: the vehicle register and the fuel table carrying net maximum power, joined per vehicle.
Sample300 MINI Coopers drawn from five spread windows across the 109,065 registered, because reading the register in stored order returns clumps of one variant. The figures above are that sample, not a census — treat the median as reliable and the extremes as indicative.
Who is left out67 are electric. Neither is in the figures above: for both, the register records a power figure that is not what the car accelerates on.
The 0–100Integrated from power, mass and drag: traction-limited then power-limited, with a torque interruption for anything with gears. Checked against 18 cars with published factory figures, 7.6% mean error. It does not know which wheels are driven, because the register does not record it.
